The Priory of Graville includes several convent buildings and Saint-Honorine Church.
The buildings, built between the 11th century and the 19th century, shelter a museum since 1926 displaying lapidary elements, a religious statuary and a collection of scale models of the late 19th century.
The Priory of Graville, including a church and several convent building, overlooks the mouth of the Seine River, between Le Havre and Harfleur.
The most ancient parts of the church, the nave and transept, were built in the 11th century. As for the choir –modified several times since the 13th century- it shelters a sarcophagus which is supposed to have held the relics of Saint Honorine before these were given to Conflans-Sainte-Honorine. The convent buildings, rebuilt in the 18th century, were partly destroyed by a fire in 1787. A romantic graveyard mingles graves and nature in this picturesque place.
The Priory of Graville was turned into a museum in 1926, it shelters lapidary elements coming from local religious buildings or from the Priory itself and also one of the most impressive religious statuary of Normandy.
It also shelters a collection of scale models of the late 19th and early 20th century, representing general human housing.
