Richard Galliano is one of these musicians who brought accordion back in fashion. He who created the “new musette” can play jazz, java, tango or waltz just as good.
Richard Galliano is now regarded as the master of jazz accordion; inspired by Astor Piazzolla, he brought accordion on the international stage. He has been granted several awards for his talent. His new project called “Tangaria” is a mix between “tango” and “aria” and originated when Galliano met two musicians from Venezuela: Alexis Cardenas –the renowned violin player- and Raphael Meijias, master of percussion.
The double bass player Philippe Aerts joins the group in a musical trip taking us to Caracas, Rio, Paris, Napoli, Brussels or Buenos Aires.
